I think that fortunately departed Jerry Falwell, now feeding the insects and worms, said similar things. Those idiots are also like the churches history of blaming disease on Sin. Of course those churches are the same people who said the earth was flat, the sun revolved around the earth. Oh pity our civilization on this planet, that some people are so empty headed they even listen to these freaks. And if I have ever seen a closeted gay - I've been face to face with Phelps (of the God hates Fags church - it is him. He just looks it. Over the past few days, anti-gay rabbis and other fundamentalists have blamed the gay pride parade for the war in the Middle East. Rabbis are saying the possibility of some gay men holding hands has caused God to start a war that has killed hundreds of civilians. World Pride has responded so defensively because of hateful claims like these. The gay community has been blamed for 9/11, Hurricane Katrina and now the conflict between Israel and Hezbollah.
