As usual the world “community” has a split on support for Israel’s right to defend itself. Spineless appeasers led by the limp-wristed Frenchies.

Kris Kobach, who was a counsel to the attorney general under John Ashcroft, told a House subcommittee last week that one of the most unusual aspects of the Senate bill is a provision — slipped into the more-than-800-page bill moments before the final vote — that would require the United States to consult with the Mexican government before constructing the fencing.
    ”I know of no other provision in U.S. law where the federal government requires state and local governments — every state and local government on the border — to consult with state and local governments of a foreign power before the federal government can act,” he said.
    ”Now, from my experience as a Justice Department official, when we had consultation requirements with the State Department, just getting two agencies in the executive branch to consult took months or years,” said Mr. Kobach, now a professor at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law. “If you add this, three levels of government and a foreign power, your delay” will never end.

Power-hungry do nothing bastards from both parties.

So what else is new? Democrats only have a couple of uses for the Armed Forces; as a diaper changer in third world nations and as fodder for anti-Bush scare tactics. Democrats have no respect for the Armed Forces and they trot out Murtha as their poster boy to to show that there is one or two former servicemen that have a Democrat viewpoint (supposedly innoculating themselves from ridicule).

In the video a pic of a nuclear power plant cooling towers (which expel steam) and satellite weather video are used to demonstrate global warming (Bush caused) and a “Closed until further notice” sign apparently suggests jobs lost under Bush. You’ll also see that Bush caused the hurricane and left people to die (especially because black people live there).

What a crock! Bill Clinton (the one that WAS impeached) is the only speaking on the video along with doom & gloom sounds. Bill gives his generic “There is nothing wrong with America that can’t be fixed with what’s right with America” quote. Democrats HAVE NO IDEAS except to criticize and Bush-hate. Their party slogan might well be “Politics above Patriotism”.

Will Americans trade their dead presidents for Ameros?

The Amero — replacing the American and Canadian dollars and the Mexican peso — will be the coin of the realm of the North American Union, a looming NAFTA-like superstate composed of Canada, Mexico and the United States.

Under the proposed plan, bank notes and coins of the currency (tentatively called the “amero” ) will have “amero” symbols on one side and national emblems on the other to preserve important symbols of national identity. That is until people get used to it and then phased out. It’s called incrementalism…

Hollywood - of all places?

In a few excerpts from the article I thought I noticed the slant of the article against the Minutemen, you decide:

“An officer was injured and six people were arrested during an anti-illegal immigration march involving the Minuteman Project and other groups Saturday evening in Hollywood, police said”. That’s the lead in to the story.

But then further on mentions this:

“Angry counter protesters, some wearing bandannas to cover their faces, yelled at the Minutemen and called them racists. They also tried to join the march, but since they did not have a permit, police stopped them, sometimes forcefully”. But then adds this: “Several people were arrested, though it wasn’t immediately clear if they were part of the anti-immigration march or the counter-protest”.

Well if the face covered counter protestors had to be stopped forcefully perhaps it was the counter protestor and not the Minutemen who had caused the officer to be injured? Notice how it’s called an “Anti-Immigration Rally”. It’s nothing of the sort. It’s an anti-ILLEGAL-immigration rally.

I’m sure if they were part of the Minutemen we’d know if they were the ones arrested.

Of course, professor Jesus Martinez-Frias, head of the Planetary Geology Laboratory at the Centro de Astrobiología in Madrid, has warned that the microwave oven-sized ice object could be a portent of “serious environmental problems”.

Even though in the same article it is noted by the same scientist that “falling ice balls have been recorded since the 19th century” THIS one has to be caused by degradation of the environment. I mean, they can’t even be clever about disguising their agenda anymore.

I’m sure we will need to fund some damn program somewhere to study it’s full impact…

As Americans prepare to celebrate the 230th anniversary of their independence tomorrow, the poll found that only 12 per cent of Britons trust them to act wisely on the global stage. That to me is a relief I hope all Europeons think the same because I don’t want America to EVER do what Europe approves of first. I want us to do what is good for America first.

A spokesman for the American embassy said that the poll’s findings were contradicted by its own surveys.

GROESBECK, Texas — A Central Texas woman reported being run off a rural road, kidnapped and then raped and beaten by two men, authorities said.

The 18-year-old woman was in stable condition Thursday following surgery. She had walked and crawled a half-mile to find help after her abductors left her for dead along a highway early Wednesday morning, police said.

Wilson said Javier Guzman Martinez, 17, and Noel Darwin Hernandez, 22, had been arrested for the crime and were charged with aggravated assault and aggravated kidnapping.

Both men are apparently in the United States illegally and will be held without bond on immigration charges. Hernandez is from Honduras, and Martinez is from Mexico.

Remember, our Liberal friend below says that a small percentage (wrong) of illegals do this sort of thing. Wonder if that were true if it would matter much to this young woman? Fact remains, if they weren’t here in this country this would have never happened. No arguement there, eh?

So a one Brian Ragle leaves a comment on a posting from our old blog about another job most Americans won’t do. He says in typical Liberal reasoning that “Non-citizens, including illegals, make up only a small fraction of State and Federal prison inmates, with 93% being incarcerated for immigration status reasons. Those that commit other crimes, such as the one you gleefully point out, are still in a tiny minority compared to the demographic make-up of incarcerated citizens.”

So, I think to myself what does that have to do with the content of the post? Oh well, so he’s trying to stick up for the poor, sick illegal alien raping a puppy. (Where is the concern for the dog? We don’t know, at least this is one example of Liberals putting people ahead of animals) I’ll bite and check out his “facts” on Illegals in prison. So I do a simple Google search and come up with this from Newsmax that “Citing an Urban Institute study, director of research for the Center for Immigration Studies Steven Camorata noted in 2004: “Roughly 17 percent of the prison population at the federal level are illegal aliens. That’s a huge number since illegal aliens only account for about 3 percent of the total population.”

So, almost 20% of prison inmates are illegals. Mind you that’s at the FEDERAL level. So where is our Lib getting his “facts”? One other uncomfortable fact is that “Up to a third of the U.S. federal prison population is composed of non-citizens, according to Federal Bureau of Prisons statistics - but not all non-citizen prison inmates are illegal aliens.” Here are some more uncomfortable facts from the Bureau of Prisons that this Lib just won’t face up to. Check out the statistics under “Citizenship” I count all of the non-American citizens and comeup with 27.2% of the prison population illegal or non citizen.

You can visit our Lib friends’ website where he claims he’s a “Liberal, Intellectual, artistic type” but aren’t they all? He also has a conservative brother who publishes his own blog (much I’m sure to his dismay). He prefers to think of himself “as embodying all that the current establishments of church and state fear most: someone who thinks for himself and will not hesitate to call them on their bullshit”. 

Well, It seems that I just called him on his. Next time stick to topic Lib.
