However, not everyone has the ability to do that. I think we should focus our efforts on becoming involved in the public schools in our communities. All schools must disclose what is in their curriculum to the parents (and the public). I objected to a worksheet that my 10-year-old son brought home that was supposed to be a "language arts" assignment and it was nothing but a load of environmentalist propanda. My son completed the assignment, but I also sent a note to his teacher objecting to the "message." She said she understood and would bring up my concern with the principal, which she did. This worksheet will not be used next year. We have to be vigilant in protecting our children for this indoctrination. I, of course, support the right of people to homeschool their kids.
