“The new voter ID rules were passed, in part, to keep illegal immigrants and other non-citizens from voting. Opponents have argued that legal voters, especially the poor and the elderly, might also be disenfranchised because of the rules”.
How’s that? The poor just can’t fish out their driver’s license? If they’re so poor then they can’t afford the gas to drive to the polls anyway. What, the elderly are too weak to lift a photo ID out of they’re pocket?

How dare anyone suggest that people actually have to DO anything in this country. I’m surprised there’s not some gov’t agency proposed to drive the voting machines to peoples homes or FEMA trailers.
