DemoRat Congress may (will) scrap border fence
Shhheeeeeeet, you knew this was coming. It was hard enough to get Republicans on board let alone leaving border security and illegal immigration up to these traitors. We’re screwed…
(UPI) - WASHINGTON, Nov. 13 (UPI) — The incoming U.S. Congress will review the law mandating 700 miles of fence along the U.S.-Mexico border, and may seek to scrap the plan altogether.
Rep. Bennie Thompson, D-Miss., told reporters this week that he expected to “re-visit” the issue when he becomes chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee in the 110th Congress, which has a Democratic Party majority.
He said that the high technology Secure Border Initiative, or SBI Net — essentially a set of monitors, cameras and other integrated surveillance systems to monitor the border — was a viable alternative.
“We might do away with it, or look at (integrating it into) SBI Net,” he said, “A virtual fence rather than a real one.”
Like Virtual Security, everyone thinks it will be there because they have paid into it. Yeah, sure, you betcha!
Go here for the whole sad story.
I have come to the conclusion that the only way anything in this country can be changed is through the barrel of a gun. Our politicians wont listen to us untill It`s election time and they fear that their jobs are in jepordy and they`ll pass a law they and Bush have no intention of inforcing. They know that they have 4yrs,to shove their agenda down our throats and that we only have 1 day (election day) to make a change. I have to think voting has become 30 minutes of my life ,wasted, that I can`t get back. It`s past time for another “Boston Tea Party” only It`s not tea we need to toss in the harbour ,but our government. Jorge Wolfrado Bush is trying his best to take the title of sorriest excuse for a president away from that idiot Jimmie Carter!! When the Gov.does not listen to the people It`s called “DEMOCRATIC COMMUNISIM”!!
