Why Mommy is a Democrat - “A different kind of children’s book”. “Democratic principles of fairness, tolerance (except for any other view), peace, and concern for the well-being of others” are displayed for the young mind. HA!
Try not to get too wound up over this and for those who’ve seen it it’s always good for a few laughs. I’m sure they won’t be doing a second printing…check out the sample pages here. My alteration for the three samples would read like this:
“Mommy lays a guilt trip on other kid’s parents so they have to share with us, as we don’t have many toys, she’s saving up for a sex change”.
“Mommy screams for more gun control, ’cause only Republicans own guns and who knows what they’ll do with them”.
“Mommy sends us off to get a gud lib’ral publick edukasun so we now how to have sexxx and ware to git aborshunz”.
Endorsed by Air America, gee, with that endorsement I’m sure soon they won’t be able to cover the cost of running the site.

I can’t believe that the people in the testimonial section of that website were serious. Those sample pages looked like something out of a Saturday Night Live, Jack Handy-type skit. I laughed out loud at the page showing the thundering elephant going past the little squirrel family with the mommy squirrel taking great care to protect her little ones from the mean old elephant. We need to come up with our own children’s books, something like, “Why Mommy isn’t a bleeding-heart, Commie-loving, left-wing dumb @ss.”

See, honey, Mommy wants to be able to kill any or all of your future siblings if they come at the wrong time or don’t look right. That’s why I want to be a Democrat. And because I like taking money from people who work and spending it on stupid crap.

I think that this book is funny as hell… “Democrats make sure we all share our toys, just like mommy does”… sounds like the fundamental pillar Communism to me. I wish they had the book online to read for free… because I would never want to give money for something as ridicules as this book
