Swim center bars two-year-old girl because she isn’t Muslim
Yep, Brits bending over for Muslim special rights in thier own country…
(thisislondon.co.uk) - Arriving at the leisure centre already in her swimming costume, two-year-old Darby was desperate to get into the water.
But she was left in tears when staff said they were not allowed in the pool because the session was for Muslim women and their children only. Non-Muslim members of Thornton Heath leisure centre were angry that they could not swim during the Muslim-only sessions on Saturdays and Sundays unless they obeyed the strict dress code.
Other city councils in Jolly Old have been doing similar bend over excercises, letting non-Muslims participate if they follow the dress code. (Notice after the click thru how militant the swim rules are, doesn’t seem like peace to me)
For men, this involved wearing shorts which kept the navel hidden and were extended below the knee, while women bathers had to wear a swimming costume which covered their body from the neck down to the ankle.
Similarly, Wolverhampton Council and South Lanarkshire local authority have also been criticised for operating women- only swimming for Muslims.
I give us about a year or two before we do the same…
You are such a moron. Shame on you. If you can accept government and religion rules, why can’t you accept the idea of the Muslim-only sessions. Accept it. Live with it.

The rules are okay for adult women, but why should a two year old be worried about covering up? There is nothing indecent about a two year old, unless you are a perv.

Well hell, then lets have an all Christian Day at the pool, no muslims, jews, or buddists allowed. Lets have a Jewish Day at the local supermarket, only jews allowed that day.
This is discrimination at it’s worst and it is slapping you in the face.

I wonder what Ray’s real name is. Have there always been designated days for each religion to use the pool? Why is there now? If Islam is the peaceful and tolerant religion everyone says it is, then why can they not swim with people of other religions? It is just a beginning of their agenda to enforce sharia law on the world.

the reason they have muslim day is becuase muslim women have a strict dress code. there wud be no point in christian day or jew day because they do not have this type of dress code?
just live with the fact that muslims are getting an HOUR on the weekends to swim. swim some other time geez.
