DummoRats can’t “tolerate” Fox News
They really are just a bunch of wussies…and OWNED by the radical lefties.
“The risk to this strategy is it could make the candidates look like, well, weenies.
“If you can’t handle the people at Fox News Channel, it makes people wonder if you can handle the Iranians, the North Koreans, the Chinese, the Russians and maybe even the Canadians,” said Ellis Henican, a Newsday columnist and Fox News contributor.”
But we knew they were all along, right?

In 2003, FOX “News” Channel fought and won a court battle giving them the right to lie in the news.

Fair and balanced?
In addition to that, they are openly hostile to liberals in general and Democrats in particular.
Really, they are a disgrace to journalism. They’ve taken everything bad about dishonest partisan attack politics and called it news.
CNN is a much better host. I don’t blame the Democratic candidates one bit.
And that’s the memo….

honest that is your weakest argument yet! Out of all the news stations Fox News is most fairest news in my book. Liberals hate it when the person with the opposing view point ask them tough questions(pansies). I still see republicans go on the very liberal biased news stations such as CNN,MSNBC,NBC,CBS,ABC and your local news stations(which are a real disgrace to journalism and America in general). I mean if your a presidential canidate wouldn’t you want to get as much publicity as you can no matter what side the news is on? That just shows what I and everyone else now all along about liberals and that there intolerate and closed-minded to republicans and to everyone else who have different views points then them.

Hi Rebecca,
It’s a weak argument to say that FOX “News” Channel has fought successfully in court for their right to lie in the news? I find that statement humorous.
I love how you folks on this blog call people names like pansies and whine about liberals while accusing liberals of whining.
Well if you actually think FOX “News” Channel is fair and honest, then I truly feel sympathy for you. The lies from their personalities are widely documented in numerous books and on the Internet. Their conservative bias is blatantly apparent from just reading their website.
If someone lied about you, would you not find that offensive?
I have a lot of conservative friends and we discuss opposing viewpoints all the time. It appears to be YOU who hates someone like me with an opposing viewpoint to say anything.
I don’t know who told you that we liberals hate being asked questions by people with an opposing viewpoint, but you’re a sheep to believe them. Maybe the people on FOX news told you that, in their “unbiased” way, hehehehe….
Those candidates get plenty of publicity, they don’t need FOX “News” Channel, which would not report honestly anyway.
News outlets like CNN and the others you listed are not biased. Who told you they were, FOX “News” Channel personalities? The PEW Research Center has studied this.
It’s FOX “News” Channel that is blatantly biased in the conservative direction. The rest of the cable and network news outlets do not have a pronounced bias, but FOX does.
I can back this up with examples if you like, but the fact that they would actually fight a court battle to defend their right to lie in the news should say a lot, don’t you think?
And that’s the memo….
RWC - Was just having lunch and watching Fox News and noticed an advertisement come up for a LGBT conference in Philadelphia. Sorry, got distracted for a moment, what were you saying? Oh, hey when you get a chnace could you give references for your accusations above? When you don’t separate the opinion shows from the actual news you get a read such as yours. How would you rank Lou Dobbs on CNN or Scarborough or Pat Buchanan on MSNBC? What about Olberman?

Sure I’ll look up some good examples and post URLs. Olbermann is great, in my opinion. He’s like a new Edward R. Murrow. The question is: Does he repeatedly lie? And is he strictly partisan? Or does he hate the CURRENT Republican leadership for their corruption? I personally wish traditional conservatives would take the Republican Party back from the neocons. (I don’t consider the neocons to be conservative, not with their big spending and invasion of privacy.)
But back to the point, yes, I’ll look up some examples of dishonest reporting.
However, the opinion segments on that show are extremely partisan and anti-liberal, not remotely fair and balanced, and somebody removed Sean Hannity’s honesty gland. However, Olbermann is not anti-Conservatism, he’s anti-corruption.
Anyway, I’ll look up some examples….

Like you can find any!

Rebecca, the fact that you insult people in a debate says a lot about you. It’s the last ditch effort of those who know they are losing an argument. Name calling is kids’ stuff.
For starters, the actual story that lead to the court battle. It was about the impacts of global warming. They told the reporters to lie, the reporters refused, FOX fired them, they sued for wrongful termination, the court sided with FOX that there’s no law against lying in the news.
From there I suggest you check out some of these books:
The O’Really? Factor
Lies and the Lying Liars who Tell them
Those should get you started.
Rebecca, you think the mainstream news media is anti-American, eh? I am sure you’ve been told that repeatedly and have come to believe it.
I guess that makes you a sheep. I rest my case. If you thought for yourself and really analyzed the news media you would notice the massive conservative bias on FOX and the generally fair and balanced reporting from the AP, Reuters, etc. Hey, maybe you should try some international news. The BBC is a good place to start.
And you call Liberals sheep! It is to laugh!!!
RWC - Still not differentiating the news from an opinion-based show?

HAHAHA
. AP is fair and balanced? Are you kidding me!?! That the biggest left leaning news out there! We conservatives have tolerated CNN, NBC, MSNBC, CBS, ABC and ect. for years now and liberals can’t tolerate FOX? I guess its true liberals are intolerate to anybody with the opposing viewpoint.
