This bunch of crap I hear from some “conservatives”. “I don’t believe in abortion, but I do believe in a womens rights” What the hell does that mean a womens right more important that then the rights of the unborn. The right of life . Are you kidding me if this isn’t some stupied political word play I don’t know what is and I really would like someone to explain it to me . -talkLATER

1) If you’re anti-abortion, don’t have one. Also, people who are against abortion should seriously consider adopting.
2) It’s not just the responsibility of the woman if chancy sex and an unwanted pregnancy takes place.
3) This law doesn’t bother me, but there’s no provision to protect a woman’s health if she’s in danger or in the event the pregnancy resulted from rape.
4) Have you heard about that Christian group that opposed the invasion of Iraq because it would and did kill countless unborn children? I applaud them for their consistency and for making that connection. I disagree with them about abortion rights in general, but still applaud them for consistency.
5) Millions of sperms and eggs die every day. Do they not have a right to life? Where do you draw the line?
6) I bet some of you folks reading this love to hunt for sport, right? To those I ask: Do you only have respect for life if it’s human?

Here would be my response regarding this issue of rape. First off, rape is a terrible thing, but when it comes down to (if you’re physically capable) why should you take your anger out on a child when it wasn’t his/her fault it was brought into this world? It doesn’t matter how a female has a baby whether she’s a victim of rape or decided to fool around, EVERY CHILD should have a chance at life. Now when it comes to a life ad death issue than it’s WAY different.

The very most important thing: Shouldn’t a child only be carried to term and brought into the world if it’s wanted and the parents are actually emotionally and financially prepared to provide for it? If you had, let’s say, a teenage daughter and she screwed up and got pregnant before finishing high school, would you want her to just abandon her education to take care of a child? That’s not going to be good for child or parent.
On the issue of rape, if you were, let’s say, raped by a huge male, would you want someone around to remind you of it all the time? Maybe you could take a photo of your rapist and put it in your bedroom so you’d never forget? Are you out of your mind? I mean, statistically, it’s inevitable that you know women who have been sexually abused. It’s a rampant problem for our entire species. More than half adult women have been raped or sexually abused. It’s impossible for us men to be able to understand or relate to that.
Yes, every child deserves a chance to live. A fetus and a child are two different things. Where do you draw the line?
If a woman is raped and becomes pregnant, she most likely will get an early abortion anyway so this law won’t apply, but still, every woman should always have the right to decide whether or not to carry a child to term.
Nobody should have the right to make that choice for a woman. Period. We’re a civilized, advanced, secular nation, not a primitive, superstitious theocracy.
Incidentally on the topic of the culture of life…
Want to see some real hypocrisy? Compare the stories of Sun Hudson to Terri Shiavo and you’ll see Bush take two exactly opposite policies based on two exactly opposite principles. A principle for all seasons, that’s the neocons. Err on the side of life in one instance, pull the plug against the guardian’s wishes in another because she couldn’t cover the insurance costs.
Seriously, look it up.
I wonder how many unborn babies were killed in the Shock and Awe campaign the US conducted in the beginning of the invasion of Iraq.

Honest I have never heard of anybody gatteing killed in shock and awe and thouse people that killed the innocent cillizan are ISMOFASIT not AMERICANS! Your so full of bulll crap. Imgine honest if we didn’t go to Iraq. thousand of U.S soliders and civilians will still be alive. Billons of dollars spent on the war will still be in our nation treasury. Sunnis and Shiites would not be savaging each other. Bombs won’t be going off in the streets everday in Iraq but wait a mintue if we didn’t go to war in Iraq Saddam will still be in power. He will still killing people (especially Kurds) if they look at him funny or said anything he didn’t like would have there villgaes gased(agian!)and their bodies left in the street. Saddams loyalist would still be rounding up dissident-men, women and childern putting bullets in their heads and leaving them in unmarked graves. Saddams special agents would still be raping women to extarct information from their so called “traitorous” husbands and don’t think that Saddam will let Iran be the only country in the Middle East to build a nuclear bomb. Then we would have to worry on not one counrty trying to make a nuclear weapon but TWO! So you know what we did alot of good in Iraq. Funny on how you change and twisted the subject AGAIN! By the way. I also find it funny when Liberals use U.S soilders in every agurement saying they care about them and want them home but secretly disrespects them and think that there, muderous, baby killing, stupid, brain washing are youth, scum bags. Two of my friends where adopted childrens, quiet nice folk.
An orphanage-like institution is better than being crushed like grabage, I would assume.
Personnaly I don`t support this Iraq war, instead these military forces should have been used to secure the borders with mexico and expelle the +20 millions illegal immigrants, putting in prison those using them as cheap labour.
