Yawn, Muslim world inflamed by Rushdie knighthood
OK, let me get this straight. The society that radical Muslims don’t respect are going to knight Salman Rushdie whom radical Muslims don’t respect. So why are they getting so upset?

Their flag making is lookin’ better
Because that’s what they do….:
- In neighbouring Iran a non-governmental organisation, the Committee of Glorification of the Martyrs of the Islamic Movement, said it was increasing its reward for killing Rushdie to 150,000 dollars from 100,000 dollars. (Oh, I’m sure THAT will get the job done)
- Iranian government officials have been slightly more reserved in their reaction, although foreign ministry spokesman Mohammad Ali Hosseini has condemned the award and said it was a clear sign of “Islamaphobia”. (Say what?)
- Religious Affairs Minister Ijaz-ul-Haq on Monday said the award for Rushdie justified suicide attacks, prompting outrage in Britain, although he later withdrew the remark. (Good thing, don’t want to look too radical here now)
Ahh, the “religion of peace” in action, so tolerant, so loving.

I got a question; How come American Athiests, United Way, and other humanists activists go quiet when the flaws of other world religions occur? It seems like they sleep when Radical Islam is at it’s worst, or the recent story of untouchable Hindu’s converting to bhuddism because of “oppression” but they suddenly wake up and bully those who say Jesus. Is it just me or has anyone thought this way. And oh yeah did you hear about the lastest ACLU outrage? Yeah, they accuse Christians of being hypocrites while they recently show that they can hypocrite themeselves. The ACLU has allowed a Muslim ritual of feetwashing in a Minnesota College, claiming that the ritual will not “affect people” But if a Christian started a prayer group there, the ACLU steps in. I thought there plan was to keep “Religion” out of state run institutions? But as the ACRU says in their blog, the ACLU believes that some religions are more equal than others.
